This blog is dedicated to one goal and one goal only: to record my glorious progress towards earning $200 to buy a kindle fire using only Amazon's mechanical Turk service. For those unfamiliar with Mechanical Turk, it is a service dedicated to "Artificial artificial intelligence", where users complete simple repetitive tasks for requestors, often for only a few pennies per "hit". Since beginning my quest on September 27, I have earned $3.37, mostly from accepting hits that make use of my French language skills (I knew those would come in handy some day). If I can complete $5 worth of hits per day, I will achieve my goal in roughly 35 days. Stay tuned.
